A Ruger P90 surprised me.

Easily the softest-recoiling .45 I have ever shot, among Gov/Comm patterns, P220, and G21 and perhaps even Smiths's (been too long, LOL).
I wish that Ruger had updated it to the P94 configuration. Trigger guard meeting above the mag release, for more room on the frontstrap...and nicer curve in the trigger blade.

The P345 was a big ergonomic improvement.

P90

A good friend bought a p89 new back when they came out and i had a 5906. I later bought a p90 and tried to like it but it and the p89 never felt as good as my 5906 so sold the p90. Good gun just too blocky feeling for me. BTY i still have one of the original p90 mags if any body needs one pm me.

Had one too. My favorite .45; until the frame rail broke:( , maybe a bad casting. Bought brand new and it never seen any load hotter than what John Moses Browning intended. Ruger was awesome as usual and gave me a $350 credit for whatever I wanted. Because they dont even make parts for it anymore. Had it a long time, and it broke my heart when it broke. But, it was The most accurate .45 I have owned. Man this thing shot lights out.

I'm a big fan of P series Rugers. I have a stainless P93 in 9mm and a stainless P944 in .40. I am dying to get my hands on a .45 P97, but they're hard to come by. You got a good deal, I think, on that P90. Might have to look at that model more closely.

Just bought this P89 about two hours ago. Box, papers, and three mags for $300 out the door.
That's a good deal. These shoot great to. Had one, sold it and bought a Glock Gen5 17, Ruger shot way better than that " marksman " barrel.

The red headed stepchild of the .45 auto loaders... big, blocky, sharp edges, hits where it needs and will absolutely run 100% with anything you feed into it. It's the less polished version of the S&W 4506.

You did well - enjoy the new gun! For that price, I'd bring it home as well.
