It shoots wonderfully! Improvised target at 25 feet.
I bought the bare frame and barrel about 5 years ago and over time bought a cylinder, yoke, side plate, trigger, hammer etc. and I had it ready to assemble till I found a screw hole stripped. I got an insert to repair the threads but then found the rebound stud fragile enough to break off so I sent it back to the Mother ship for repair 9 months ago.
It just came back this morning..and after 5 years and about $350 investment, (including S&W repair) I was able to shoot it. I do enjoy projects.
Not a pretty gun by any means, especially wearing the tird brown Bianchi Lightning grips, but a pocket gun I can single action shoot when needed.
I sure could have used it the other day on a red squirrel that I missed 3 times with my 642..although it was on the run.
And I got a free box!
