If you were going to stock up on two powders, what would they be?

Not trying to contribute to panic buying but with all the predictions of impending shortages I'm curious. If you had the opportunity to pick an 8lb jug of your two favorite powders, at pre-panic pricing, which you would buy to get you through the next dry spell? Any reloader is going to have odds and ends of one-pound cans of powder to handle the odd stuff so what powder would you want in an extra 8lb quantity.

For me either 231 or Bullseye would handle most of my handgun reloading and something like Varget would handle most of my large scale rifle reloading.

Although I'd be real tempted to go with Bullseye and FFFG.

Unique & IMR 3031 and a copy of Lyman loading manual #45. With those two you can load anything in the world. Anything the British loaded with Cordite, you can load 3031 and be safe. Most cartridges the brits never loaded will be covered by Unique! (but most likely a little slow!)

If you have some really big magnums, IMR or H 4831 would be a great "All Round Powder".

For me, AA 9 (or 7) and either titegroup or AA2. I have enough rifle powder for my meager rifle needs.

Though, Blue Dot or H110 wouldn't break my heart...

Nothing I have to worry about...Someone just gave me a metal keg of 231 and a jug of Universal clays and Have 8-10 lbs of 4895...and various other powders. 231 and Universal will fill my needs for handguns...Don't forget...you need a match to light them off. Time to buy PRIMERS

I stocked up on Bullseye, Unique and 2400 (I know this is not what many would consider stocked up. I don't reload rifle, but I do have a couple of pounds of CFE. My focus has been primers right at the moment.

Another fan of flaming dirt here: Unique and 4895.
Honorable mention to Bullseye, Red Dot, Green Dot, and 231 for pistol. Varget and 3031 for rifle.
