Agree, my two cents... I suspect we will be seeing more shrinkflation is the future if congress keeps spending like they've been doing since the start of this decade and devaluing our dollar.
The consumers are strapped with a heavy load of credit card debt and corporations need to hold pricing in check or loose sales. So, shrink the volume and keep the packaging the same size.
I can deal with the shrinkage strategy better than the product changes I'm seeing in old favorites, e.g., Ritz Crackers.
Nabisco apparently changed the recipe. I often find crackers crumbling in their stack packs or when you lay a little peanut butter on the cracker.
