I got these 2 new sets of K/L grips from Curt yesterday. As usual his work was Outstanding. The Round Butt are on my 586-4 3" and the Square Butt are on my 19-4 4". Both are Black Walnut. I even got him to sign them. The pictures don't do these grips justice.

IIRC, Curt used to not do checkering himself. Is he doing it now, or did he send it to someone else to do it, or did you get it done by someone else? I also haven’t ever seen him do the style on your square butt revolver. I know Keith Brown does it. I can’t remember what it is called……something to do with “fish”, I think. I think it turned out AWESOME! I see he still has one of the best woodpiles in the industry!
Larry

I had Curt send me pictures of the grips as he was making them.

A Classic Example Of A Craftsman Who Has Pride In His Work

Mr. Harlow has the skill and ability and excels in his Grip Production profession, his products are extremely well made and very attractive.
He is among only a hand full of true craftsmen who are talented enough to produce such works of art. He has my utmost respect and admiration and I appreciate each of you showing your pride of owning such beautiful Grips (Stocks). Thanks!

I've enjoyed (and benefited from) Curt's fine craftsmanship before. Exceptional restoration work for me. But, I've never had him CREATE anything. I often thought of a set of "K" frame diamond COKES.
Hmmmmm, I still have some quarter-sawn Black Walnut in the barn. Maybe??

What a coincidence! My stocks arrived yesterday also!

Those are gorgeous!

Kevin

Just realized, I did not include images.

So, a little background. These were sent to me as a gift. I was, and still am, absolutely floored when I opened the box. Curt is know for his big stocks, checkered with ribbons and etc. These are simple, unadorned Magnas, and are on my newest ACP Target Model of 1950.

Considering he did not have my revolver or even a tracing, the fit is excellent.

I am proud to own these. Curt even signed and dated them for me.

Kevin
