The first shipment of the last Curtis Harlow order.

I had the honor and pleasure of meeting Curt, through correspondence, for the restoration of a pair of pre war large silver medallion N Frame Service grips.
We started a 360 degree exchange of letters, now I can say that we are pen pals, and this has gratified me.
He is not only a great artist and exceptional craftsman, but more importantly he is a great man with life's values well imprinted in his soul.
Long live Curt.

Gorgeous grips to be sure.
If I may ask, what makes the first stocks "pre-war Magna" style as opposed to the post-war. They dont seem any different to my eye except perhaps the height of the horn.

Third are a pair of checkered Targets in French Walnut mounted on a 14-2 Hanen Special.

Dang, your Hanen is prettier than either of mine. I think my grips are going to require that my purple Hanen takes a visit to Fords soon.

🥲 It’s a sad day when Curt hangs up his checkering tools. I wish I could have afforded more of his work.
beautiful revolvers and stocks Craig, thanks for sharing them with us.

That is some fine wood you sourced, especially the French walnut. How fitting to use it for that mighty fine Manurhin. Completes the gun perfectly. I would love to have a vintage 3" MR73 one day myself. However, the modern productions under Beretta are no slouches.
