Northeast Ohio Bunch spring meeting

Thanks Bo for the report...

OGCA show was on the small size for this event. Talked to the butchers that had tables. Had a nice visit with them. We are all looking forward to the 7th of September, and the bunch show. Was informed that the new AFT policy would not be in play in Ohio. Picked up some brass, bullets, and ammo at a decent price. Found a nice Model 94 big bore Angle eject in .375 Winchester which are very rare. Lots of Smith&Wesson revolvers. Some not too badly priced. Got there at 8:30 went through the show at 11:00. Had lunch went back to buy some items left at 1:30. I believe that the November show will have more vendors.

Thanks Bo for the report on the OGCA IX Center show...Sounds like you got a great deal on the .375 Winchester Model 94...that IS a RARE rifle...I missed being there today, but I am also looking forward to the September 7th Bunch...I had wondered if there would be less tables because of the new "rule"...glad to hear it was not in play in Ohio...Roger

Bo, just wondering how the executive order doesn't affect Ohio gun owners? Figured it was a national thing or are the OGCA considered collectors!! Some people at the OGCA buy & sell just like gun show vendors, Larry

Larry, this is what I was told by the Officers of the OGCA. I understand that it is up to the State for inforcement. Ohio is a State that will avoid this policy. I am sure that more information will be coming out on this. I am just reporting what I was told.

My father and I attended as well. Got there right around 9am, probably left before noon. Not a bad turnout of vendors, but nothing compared to what it used to be when it was at the IX all the time.

I did see a few from "The Bunch", Gary, Marty, Dan T., and another I don't know by name. A large percentage of the tables were military and AR15 related. There were some other nice collectibles, but I thought the prices were quite high. Perhaps a half dozen 3" N frame Smiths, nothing exceptionally rare, all in the $2500+ range. A really nice Kimber of Oregon Model 82 Custom Classic, priced at $2850.

Best regards, Bob.

"Very Interesting"

Went to Medina got there at 9 very short line to get in. A lot of old time non
FFL sellers had NO GUNS displayed for sale ❓❓❓❓❓❓I thought Ohio was not a inforcement state❓❓I hope i'm wrong but my show days could be over.

As Artie Johnson on the show "Laugh In" used to say: "Very Interesting"...

In my inexperienced opinion, the Medina show was about the same as the last one. I did notice a lot more bayonets, so maybe different vendors...or just confirmation bias on my part? I did see some of the same vendors as well. So like I said, about the same to me...
