NE Ohio Fall "Bunch" August 19, 2023

Wasn't it the Captain Kangaroo show?

I'm working on 65 year old memories, but from what I remember Captain Kangaroo was a national network show. Captain Penny and Barnaby were local programs out of Cleveland. The Halle's Department store that sponsored Mr. Jingeling was a regional department store chain based in Cleveland.

You are most likely correct 👍

My memory isn't the greatest…so I'm thinking you are correct 👍

Hopefully, I will make the Spring bunch. Missed the Fall bunch with health problems. Hip replacement is schedualed for January 12th. Pa Spring turkeys season opens on April 27. Just to let you know.

I should make it clear that 27 April is for youth hunting, and the regular season opens on the 4 May for Spring Turkey in Pa.

Went to the Yankee lake show, was there from noon to 1:30, good show & good crowd. Went looking for K square grips, found none. Picked up a 25-06 die set and an old Lyman turret press to add to my two existing ones.
Put this in the previous bunch thread as I didn't know if the new thread starter 'jcelect' would object to gun show stuff being put in his 'bunch' thread as in the past.

Being that the show is so close to the Ohio/PA line, many PA tables there with many long guns. Also there were many tables with reloading stuff, brass bullets powder reloading hardware.

Was in the area so stopped in at FFF Berea to check on some shellholders. Not busy at all, about 1pm, only activity was at the ammunition shelves. Got the shellholders I was seeking.
I guess winter has arrived, cold cold cold.

Monday's a holiday so banks, PO, and gov offices closed.
