Today is International Beer Day!

Snubby, I don't got 'em. But for you, not in my own self interest at all but for you, I will be travelling to my local purveyor of fine alcoholic beverages, toilet paper, tuna and milk. There I will purchase some Lite beer to celebrate. Bottoms up, my friend.

I usually drink Miller Lite but this was a special occasion, so Miller High Life for me.

I loved the comment from the TV series Firefly in Jaynestown...beer, liquid food and still tasty, but with being diabetic it is a treat to be savored for special times more and more.

sorry I am late.. been without power since Wednesday... they "say" we will get it back today sometime... so I missed beer day.. but I did head to a Czechfest yesterday and had a cold one in an air-conditioned Sokol hall... both the beer and A/C were appreciated greatly..

1: There are no bad beers. Some just taste better than others.

2: The two most precious liquids on earth are beer and sriracha.

3: I average a 30 pack per week. Money well spent.

Used to drink HL back in the 70's / early 80's but then drifted away for a long period. But for the last few years, I'm back! 30 pack at the local stores for $19.99. Can't beat that!

I wish there was something like a Czechfest around here. I do enjoy Czechvar.
