Not running wild, but you'd be surprised what's in your neighbor's houses. My dad went on a call once when the Portland police needed help after a domestic situation had brought them to a residence. They said they had many reptiles and needed help determining if they were native species or not. He looked around for about 5 minutes and came back out and told them they were all exotics. Especially the 4' gator in the tub and the monitor lizard wandering the living room. He was very happy exotics were out of his purview.
