I sprung my stainless 905 from gun jail on Monday.
No tool marks that I can see.
Tight side plate seam.
The fit of the crane to the frame is nice where it fits by the cylinder window, but where it rotates in the frame there is a minor gap.
Cylinder gap (I’m guessing)is around .007-.008. It locks up solid.
The DA trigger pull is heavy, and the SA is heavier than I prefer, but both are smooth.
I think a TK spring kit is in the future along with their moon clips.
I wish the grips would allow a 3 finger hold. I can get 2-1/2 but not 3. I might order a Hogue.
I hope to try it out this weekend if the weather and SWMBO let me.
I’m anxious to try it out.

I probably have a half a dozen Tauri. Not my first choice but I've never had any problems with them. Just picked up a 669 for no good reason, other than a good price and no papers.

The Taurus 905 with Hogue grip fitted handles well. The improved grip along with the 905's weight work together to manage the 9mm. CT laser grip also works well.
When changing mainspring (hammer spring) be aware you may loose reliability to fire some hard primer ammo.
My 905 seems to best match POA/POI with 147 grain loads.
Hope your 905 allows easy extraction!

Agreed! I’d like a S&W but I can’t find one for what I paid for the Taurus.
I’m just a poor parts man. ;)
