Yay, no more Medicare ads

I got medicare info from a lot of places because I turned 65 this year. Since I have been on Medicare since late 2021, so those were worthless, and one source was affiliated with my medical provider, which has my medicare stuff for coverage purposes. They cross reference everything else - why not this?

Y'all DO understand that these ads are why you get to see so much football on TV don't you?
The reason why you see all the big pharma ads is because of the repositioning of the medical business model. Gone are the days of the local doctor's office where each week a beautiful busty pharma saleswoman dressed to kill would show up , feed the office and lean over the doctors desk and give away free samples of her wares (drug samples) for the doctor to hand out. Those were the days, I never paid for the stuff my doctor would prescribe-he's just go to his "magic closet" and give me samples. Never will forget accidentally overdosing on that codeine cough syrup he gave me one time! THAT was some good stuff :D
Now the business model is all BIG medical which doesn't have time for the old way and big pharma has to figure out how to push the stuff directly to the patients through TV ads rather than to the doctors with beautiful women.

I really hated the one with the wife shrilly scolding her clueless husband "Aaalllaaan" about the need to sign up for a Medicare Advantage plan - instead of their basic Medicare only plan.
That woman's voice set my teeth on edge worse than nails on a chalkboard...

I swear that woman was an "adult film star" in her younger years.

Or she reminds me of an old girlfriend.

I'll quit while I'm ahead.
