Well, it appears the attempted flag planting by the Michigan football team on the field at Ohio State has deeply wounded residents of that state. So much so that a State Representative has introduced a bill that would make it a felony to plant a flag on the field at OSU if done the same day as a football game. A felony. Not a misdemeanor, a felony. So, because an 18 year old decides to do something as stupid as plant a flag, his constitutional rights are lost. Did it hurt Ohioans that bad? This is such an issue a new law has to be put into effect? Hopefully it doesn't go anywhere. By the way, there's no law, even a proposed one, that says Michigan baseball players can't plant a flag on the pitchers mound in Columbus. Or, that OSU football players can't plant a flag in Michigan. This law would only "protect" Ohioans from a football team "disrespecting" their "turf". Yep, sounds like we need a new law here.

Or how about we conduct ourselves as decent people, let the NCAA handle issues with college sports, and maybe grow some thicker skin before we start taking away constitutional rights to help people deal with losing a freaking football game. I'm disgusted.

A clear case of pandering for votes.

If brains were money and it cost 50 cents to go around the world most politicians couldn't get out of sight.

What does that say for those who voted for them??
Usually the two criminal gangs that are in the business of selling our government only presented a choice of idiot 1 vs idiot 2

This may fall under the 1st Amendment-Freedom of speech. I can see that they would make the case that it would be akin to yelling fire in a crowded theater but that might be a stretch.

If I lived in that state, I would be the first signature on the recall sheet.
