I'm not up on the older ones so I thought I'd post some pics here of what I saw.
Someone's grandpa died and this was in the closet was the story behind it .

As the box top notes, it is a .44 HE model of 1950, a fairly scarce gun in general (1200 reported produced).

How much did you give them for it? :)
I didn't buy it . I'm a shooter now. Collecting days are over. Plus I'm not knowledgeable about the old ones so I took some pics to post here so someone could identify it . I was told the price is $2k. Could be negotiable.
This gun shop is about the size of an average bedroom.

Ok no problems with posting the information.
It's on consignment at this gun shop:
Family Of Patriots
3590 Tamiami Trail N.
Naples, Fl. 34103
239 405 0600
They're normally closed on Sundays and Mondays but this close to Christmas that might change. Also I was told the price was $2k.
If it's a good buy then I hope someone here gets it .

That's beautiful. If I didn't currently have other obligations, it would be mine. Early congrats to who ever pics it up!

I am the exact opposite. In my older age I am a collector, not a shooter. Thanks for the heads up.
