Anybody else stock up on special brews for the special season? For me, Pilsner Urquell, Paulaner Salvator, Heineken, and Guinnes Nitro Stout. Merry Christmas all! PROST!!

No need to stock up. Herself and I enjoy the custom of a local brewery. The brewer does small batches and has as many as a dozen on tap at any time. I like dark beers and some of the seasonal ones. He has 2 porters and 4 stouts right now. We try to get there once a week as we enjoy the comraderie.

For you North East Ohio members, it is Dark Room Brewing Company in Geneva. Tell them the knife sharpener sent you!

Christmas means several batches of plus-p homemade Irish cream.

But now that i know ya can buy premade bourbon egg nogg, may add that to the diet busting activities.

I stock up on Shiner Cheer every year. Usually hits shelves around Halloween and, depending on sales, stays available until around the new year or so. Always delicious and refreshing! Last year's brew was phenomenal.

To repeat: there are no bad beers. It's just that some taste better than others.

Merry Christmas and fire for effect.

Some of them need to be put back in the horse. I have tried some very distasteful brews. Merry Christmas and enjoy whatever You get. I like Dos Equis Amber. Got one here called Moose Drool. Can't describe the taste, but I'll bet the real thing tastes better.

My two favorite beers are free and cold, in that order. After navigating through the craft beer craze for about 10 years I circled back to where I began 50 years ago, with Budweiser (NOT Bud Light). Each one is just as tasty as the previous 50,000 or so. I do enjoy a New Glarus Spotted Cow or a Leinenkugel Vanilla Porter when I can get 'em, but a good cold Bud works every time.
