That last "harvest" from a neglected garden just before the first serious frost warning in Central Texas. Not as big or picture perfect as lots of other harvests, but special as a reminder of summer heat past, and yet to come.
Taken from a spot on the seawall here that we call "Cocktails on the Beach," because, midpoint of one of our evening walks, we typically buy a beer, or canned cocktails, at a nearby convenience store and sit convivially on the wall admiring the scene. Very relaxing.
Took this photo in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn in Amarillo. Long way from a marsh. I don't have a marsh either but it didn't stop me from admiring this machine.
