BIGFOOT, what have you seen or know

IDK, lots of people claim to have “seen something.” They have nothing to gain yet make these claims knowing they’ll face ridicule. LEOs, Military, Hunting guides. Lots of people whom you’d consider credible. The dead body argument has been brought up before. There are thousand. Maybe even hundreds of thousands of bears in North America. How often do you see a carcass? Not very. There are several million deer in North America. You see carcasses but not on a regular basis. Teddy Roosevelt even relayed a story he heard from a mountain man in his book Wilderness Hunter.

I know that I have seen/read dozens, if not hundreds, of anecdotal stories about Bigfoot, Yeti, and all the other names these supposed hominids have from the 1850s to the last few days. In all that time no one has ever related that a fossil or cadaver of any of these things has ever been found, or that anyone has ever killed one that supposedly was attacking them.

Because of the above I consider the likely-hood of any of these beings existing to be very close to absolutely zero!:(:(:(

All the pictures that show up out there are always so clear...I'm sure it's the same equipment we used to take the pictures when we landed on the moon ...

I live 30 miles south of Salt Fork in Ohio
I have heard some stories from out of that place. I saw a video of a Bigfoot caught in the open by a drone. Now officially I have to say I have never seen one or heard one. But I feel there must be something to it because the Indians have stories about these things. There are a lot of stories from people of all walks of life so I think there must be something. They all can't be lying. BTW my son told me a story about one interaction his coworker had with one just south of Salt Fork. I remember BigBills stories about his experience with them.

Mountain lions I have seen. Apparently lions scare all the Bigfeet away.

The photos may be blurry, but here's a clear drawing:

My 2 friends mentioned above, neither one would admit to seeing a bigfoot. Just that they saw something very large and hairy and bipedal walk out of the woods, into a meadow and mill around before going back into the heavy timber. This was during big game season and no one in their right mind would be dressing up in such a suit with hunters in the area. Both men were very experienced hunters, each killing many deer, elk and bear. They both said it definitely wasn't a bear.

There wasn't a Phish concert nearby was there? Some of the followers that hang out near Morrison when they play Red Rocks easily resemble Bigfoot.

I know folks with no reason to lie that said they had. I knew an elderly lady many years ago that said she saw and smelled one. Apparently there's a reason they're called skunk apes.

I've been in the woods a lot and never seen one, heard one, or seen signs. I did, however, have a relative that was an extra in Harry and the Hendersons.

In WV, our version is the Braxton County Monster, seemingly a 10-foot tall red-bodied alien with a green face. Then there is Mothman, also tall, and having large wings on it's back. Also seemingly an alien. No Bigfoot. Maybe the aliens scared them out of this area.

IDK ……. There’s a Bigfoot Museum in Sutton. Even the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulpher has sightings and trail cam pics of something. And let’s not forget the Flatwoods Monster. There are published accounts of him going way back.

My farm is in deep SW MO and there have long been rumors about them in this area. A few years ago I saw one of the Bigfoot chaser shows Jeep in a nearby town. I have seen a mountain lion running across a field that I at first thought was a deer until noticing the tail was about 3 feet long. Closest proof I have of Bigfoot is this picture off a game camera about 100 yards from the house.

Nothing here. My oldest son is a Wildland firefighter based out of Colorado. They get sent to big fires further west all the time and he has spent a couple of summers fighting fires in the Bluff Creek area of Northern CA where Patterson allegedly filmed "Patty". They really get back in the boonies and camp multiple weeks at a time. On one occasion, a member of his unit swore up and down a bigfoot came into their camp. On another occasion, they were on a fire line near some caves. Rocks started sailing out of the caves.

I don’t know how to post a link. But it’s easily found online. There is a couple with a small child in the Canadian wilderness. They record some pretty strange noises. If heard wolves. This is not wolves. Or moose.

In the early 90's I was part of a massive search operation for an adolescent boy along the spine of the Cascades (where many of the "sightings" have occurred over the years). We found his body three days later, but in the meantime the staggering assets included a Blackhawk with FLIR. They reported being able to identify deer, elk, bear, even ravens and racoons, but never saw even one bigfoot. Strange.

I've always wondered, out of all the people that have seen one, why didn't someone just shoot it to prove that they exist? I have never heard of a closed season or bag limit on them. I'm pretty sure that any elk or bear rifle caliber like 7mm Mag, 300 Win Mag, 338 Mag, etc., would get the job done.
