Holster but No Gun

At least it wasn't left in a local coffee shop restroom!

As someone who did that at work (twice, in a gun shop, so yes, I took a lot of kidding), here's a tip: If the restroom in question is of the single-occupancy sort with a lockable door, and if I'm in there for the sort of transaction which would necessitate unholstering my pistol, as soon as the door is secured, I take my gun out and put it in the sink. No way I'm leaving without washing my hands, so...

wait until you have everything on and at the office you discover you have gun, holster, extra ammo, fighting knife, blackjack, flashlight. cell phone, whiskie, handcuffs, but not your pants.

From a CC course: if you're in the stall and drop your pants, put the gun in the crotch of your undies. That way you're sure to remember it.

As usual, went out for a 2 ~ 3 mile walk yesterday morning. When we got home, started to take my gun off my belt and realized while I’d put on my holster I’d left my gun at home.

First time that’s happened…
How old are you now ...

I have done that before but caught it just as I was leaving home.

My best moment was when flying to Arizona for vacation years ago I took my M60 for my ccw. When I flew I used the internal lock for the first and only time. I carried it out here for about 3 days before I realized that I had never unlocked it!

Runner up was stashing a case of 5.56 ammo in the house before I left for another vacation. Took me months to find it.
