A Joke or Bad Reality TV

I caught a couple of the celebrity interviews after the landing. I had no idea who the "celebrities" were. It turns out Lauren Sanchez is Jeff Bezos' fiancee, and Gayle King hosts the CBS morning show. Who knew? I don't follow celebrities and I don't get up early enough to watch morning shows. Between Sanchez, King, and the female interviewer, there was enough plastic surgery to pay for some very nice boats. However, I have to admit that the views of the just-landed capsule sitting in the middle of the west Texas desert were pretty cool.

No longer takes brains to go to space, only money. The crew that opened the door should have rode horses and worn ape suits.

That would be a hoot! But with the generation they are in, I don't think they would get the reference.

"Get your damn dirty ape hands off me!"

Classic Charlton Heston! Truly one of the greats.

It really kinda chapped my you know what. They are called astronauts and crew. There are baggage or vacationers, nothing more. They did nothing. To call them astronauts or anything of the sort is doing a dishonor to real astronauts. If I take a flight, am I called a back seat pilot? Did I do anything other than sit my butt in a seat and go along for the ride. Please.

If you watched the interviews after, Gayle King corrected the interviewer and said she was not an astronaut.

Can't speak for the others but I think they realize that.

Would still be cool to do it but clearly past my price point.

Even if I could afford it, I'd never do it.
