TSW matching slide and frame?

I recently bought a Brinks 4046TSW.
Glancing through the catalogue entry for this gun I'm reading
"each TSW has the frame and slide machined as a matched set with an assembly number on each half"

I would presume that means the slide is numbered to the gun but I'm not seeing any such markings on the slide.

Any ideas?

Edit to add Not all TSW’s had co-witnessed numbers. The early ones did not. For instance my 4513TSW pre-rail, (6rnd,) doesn’t but my 4513TSW non-railed railed, (7rnd,) does.

Some, but not all TSW's have matching numbers inside. Other TSW's are not match marked in any obvious way.

Some pistols, not just TSW's, have matching numbers on right side of frame, slide, and barrel. These are common on some 6906, 6946, 3953 for Newark PD as well as 4006, 4013 for Colorado State Patrol and multiple Police Dept TSW's including the CHP 4006TSW's (see below) - but these were speculated to be to allow pieces to be kept together in cases of Armory concurrent disassembly of multiple pistols in addition to providing rack / assignment markings.

I thought those were CHP inventory numbers, but maybe not.

When I have a spare minute I'll have to check my two 3913TSWs and 3953TSW to see if any have matching numbers. I know that the slides and frames don't mix and match between those and my non TSW guns.

That's because of the difference between the original stepped rails, versus the box-type rails of the TSW rails. Also, there was a barrel hood thickness change between the original guns and the TSW's at some point.

The early TSW's did have some matched production and numbering, but that changed over time, reportedly because of ongoing improvements in machining and production tolerances. I remember one of the 4006TSW's we received was eventually determined to have an improperly machined rear sight dovetail (too large on the left side and allowed a couple of sight bases to slowly drift left under recoil). After it was finally identified as a slide machining problem by the factory, they simply put a new slide on the frame for us. Ran like a top afterward.

The internal match marking is what is commonly discussed regarding the matched assembly at least in the earlier TSW pistols.

The match marked slides/frame/barrel were atypical - no doubt as specified by Procurement agency. They presumably served both purposes but inventory numbers would only be required on frame - the placement on frame, barrel, and slide in close proximity would be to keep parts together.

The last run of CHP pistols had contract assigned CHPxxxx serial numbers on left and Exxxx match markings on right side in close proximity. In this case the Exxxx were the same 4 digits as the CHPxxxx which seems to be unique.

Earlier CHP pistols (I believe including 4006, 4006TSW, and 4013TSW) had similar Axxxx, Bxxxx, and Dxxxx right side match marking unrelated to pistol s/n. Other pistols had other conventions for match marking - Newark PD used NPDxxx for 3953 and NPDxxxx for 6906 and 6946 presumably tracking to officer assignment.

As far as inventory / assignment tracking, many other 3rd generation pistols had a single number on the frame only.

I don't have any pictures, but once upon a time I had what was reported to be CA DOC 3913 with matching Axxxx numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel as in one of the pictures in this thread. I also saw pictures, probably here, of a 6906 with the same type of numbers.

I think someone mentioned that all CA state agencies with armed personnel bought under the CHP contract.
