Long time gun owner as I have been mainly an old Colt Collector and have had a few Smith and Wessons but now decided to go down the Smith and Wesson old revolver rabbit hole. Just picked up a 27-2 3.5 revolver that was issued to an Austin, Texas police officer back in 1971.

Hi from Pflugerville, Texas.

Welcome, Manny. Glad to have you. (Most of us are promiscuous in our firearms affections, and enjoy our Colts as well, although I am down to a First Series Woodsman Sport, a Three Fifty-Seven, and Second Issue Detective Special at this point.)

Manny me too, exactly. When I sold off my Colts one at at a time and replaced them with early Smiths, I had trouble understanding why when I bought them they were so much in demand and so expensive, but when I sold them they were so cheap and nobody was interested in old Colt revolvers? My wife wanted to know what I was going to do with all that money from the Colt sale. But you already know the answer!! Buy guns of course.
