alwslate: In 68 & 69 I got quite a bit of time in using the Old Army Grease Gun in Viet Nam. It was IMHO much easier to use than the Thomson. It really worked very well for me when we were working Villages. I was told that every Tank that came to Viet Nam had 5 Grease Guns assigned to it. Again I really liked the Old Grease Gun, and found it really easy to use. I am just an Old Man Telling Stories now I didn`t mean to get long winded on You Guys. The US M3 .45 cal Grease Gun wouldn't win any beauty contests but I have always wanted one.

If you think the "Native Nagant" is homely looking, I'll suggest the target version of the same revolver. Unfortunately I do not have a photo but it is like using a plywood glove around the revolver. Dave_nI'm putting in one vote for the M1895 Nagant revolver. It may be ugly and slow to load, but it sure is fun to shoot.

Shakespeare couldn’t have said it betterAny Ruger center-fire pistol or double action revolver makes every other gun on this list look like a beauty queen!!!![]()
I had one of these
Not only ugly as sin, truly horrendous to shoot.

I vote for the Grendel P-30
I had a Grendel P-30 for a few years. It was a hoot to shoot and was pretty darn reliable. However I never could get used to the looks of it.
I'll have to admit that I'm still more than a little chapped about how Bill Ruger betrayed American gun owners, yet got a complete pass on that, somehow. Bribing the NRA with a million dollars probably helped.I must respectfully disagree with the couple Ruger haters. Where else can you find a good hammer/boat anchor that shoots bullets too?
Peace!
Yep..........Very uglyI disagree, Type 94 is eloquent and suave . Here’s ugly
Looks like Bubba moved to Afghanistan!OK....Shut the thread down....You win the internet for the week. That may possibly be the ugliest gun I have ever seen.
It’s not ugly, it’s different, unique!Looks OK to me?
I like my 1895 Nagant made in 1944.My vote goes to the 1895 Nagant. Apply the adage if it looks right it flies right to this revolver and you have a crash waiting to happen in every holster (which for this gun is equally hideous).
I like them too..I don't think they are ugly any more than some early S&W's are pretty ugly..I like my 1895 Nagant made in 1944.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My 1895 Nagant revolver made in 1940 at the Tula Arsenal is beautiful because the Finns took it off the Russians.I like my 1895 Nagant made in 1944.
That is pretty homely.I was musing today on what gun I would pick as the world's ugliest. My vote would have to go to the Japanese type 94 Nambu pistol, made during WWII. Not only ugly but dangerous in that it could be fired just by pressing the visible sear on its left side.
I have one in my collection as a negative example of a firearm!
Don't you agree?

I like a sleeker design for revolvers but if it's efficient I could get be hind it. Better than being in front of it!!!Awesome gun, short on beauty…
