The US M3 .45 cal Grease Gun wouldn't win any beauty contests but I have always wanted one.

alwslate: In 68 & 69 I got quite a bit of time in using the Old Army Grease Gun in Viet Nam. It was IMHO much easier to use than the Thomson. It really worked very well for me when we were working Villages. I was told that every Tank that came to Viet Nam had 5 Grease Guns assigned to it. Again I really liked the Old Grease Gun, and found it really easy to use. I am just an Old Man Telling Stories now I didn`t mean to get long winded on You Guys.

I'm putting in one vote for the M1895 Nagant revolver. It may be ugly and slow to load, but it sure is fun to shoot.

If you think the "Native Nagant" is homely looking, I'll suggest the target version of the same revolver. Unfortunately I do not have a photo but it is like using a plywood glove around the revolver. Dave_n

I vote for the Grendel P-30

I had a Grendel P-30 for a few years. It was a hoot to shoot and was pretty darn reliable. However I never could get used to the looks of it.

That looks like a piece of a tool or machinery.

I'll have to admit that I'm still more than a little chapped about how Bill Ruger betrayed American gun owners, yet got a complete pass on that, somehow. Bribing the NRA with a million dollars probably helped.

My vote goes to the 1895 Nagant. Apply the adage if it looks right it flies right to this revolver and you have a crash waiting to happen in every holster (which for this gun is equally hideous).

I like them too..I don't think they are ugly any more than some early S&W's are pretty ugly..

I think the Nagant revolver was simply a product of its time....That, and the lack of John Moses Browning or Samuel Colt on the Russian's design team

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My 1895 Nagant revolver made in 1940 at the Tula Arsenal is beautiful because the Finns took it off the Russians.

I was musing today on what gun I would pick as the world's ugliest. My vote would have to go to the Japanese type 94 Nambu pistol, made during WWII. Not only ugly but dangerous in that it could be fired just by pressing the visible sear on its left side.

I have one in my collection as a negative example of a firearm!

I always thought the Mark VI .455 Webley was so ugly it was cool. So of course, I had to have one. I got real lucky in that I found this piece that didn't have the cylinder shaved.

I think the .38 S&W Webley (War Finish) is a very cool revolver. Mine is in good shape and has increased in value at least three tome what I paid for it.

I bought one off an Air Force guy in Viet Nam 1969 for five bucks. I didn't carry it of course, but I played with it on a firing range in our base camp. The springs were so worn out it certainly didn't fire 450 RPM as advertised. More like half of that. I gave it to a Friend when I left.

I disagree - Ruger is capable of putting out a pretty revolver when they try!

Many of the Rugers are classic. My GP100s look every bit like working guns. Too much print engraved on the Rugers, but then again, the old S&W's had a lot too, but they did confine it to the top of the barrel as fine print. Glad it went away when top ribs became standard. Now, the Ruger LCRs with the half plastic/steel frames are a bit much...
