I'll take this a little further. Instructors and Red Shirts trying to teach somebody with limited hand strength the high thumbs or thumbs forward grip. I know the IPSC and IDPA fiends will go ballistic, but for some a thumbs down crush grip is the only way for people with small hands and weak wrists to have any chance of controlling a pistol. Also, with the thumbs forwards grip there is often nowhere to put them on a smaller gun, or something with a minimal dustcover. Now what?Groo here
This #$^%&* thumbs high hold on a gun not designed for it....
So many say the gun is bad when they ride the slide with high thumbs, and drop the mag by hitting the button with the base of the thumb,
or slide locks or not locks because the thumb is high .
My EAA Gold Team is set up for this hold from the factory thumb shield on the safety and on the "Gass Pedel"
