Hello;

I’m looking for recommendations for a tuckable, low-profile, deep-concealment holster for a J-frame 1.87” revolver (Model 442 and/or Model 36). Currently using a Titus kydex holster that’s OK but isn’t tuckable, or pocket carry with a Don Hume pocket holster, or IWB with a Braids holster that’s kinda too bulky and stiff for what it is.

I’ve been eying the 1791 Gunleather tuckable AIWB holster and it looks good, also curious about the Tulster RATH and the Icon 2.0 from Harry’s Holsters.

Preference for leather, would like it to be somewhat below the belt line and must be tuckable. Retention is a plus, speech of draw ain’t that big a deal. Comfort would be nice too, and I’d like to avoid a gigantic belt clip- ideally, could clip it behind my pants.

I like the idea of the RATH, but I’m also very curious about the various DeSantis tuckable holsters and a whole lot more.

Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated! Thanks!

Look at the IWB offerings from MTR Custom Leather. Their tuckable adversary or deluxe AIWB holsters may fill the bill. They also offer the tuckable clip as an option to others.

Check Vedder comfort tuck. It's a hybrid. Kydex retention holster on a leather backing. Small clips, and they have a 30 days know questions ask warranty. Along with a lifetime warranty. Relatively inexpensive. I can forget I am eating it. Well, until I sit down, but even then it's not bad.

Craft holsters has 30% off right now. I have not bought from them, but this might interest you;

Rocketmedic 40 I like the Don Hume PCCH.I ve got one for my 36 and ot takes the 442 as well For me it's carries very well.

Remora. Use regularly with 642 and 60 and Ruger LCP Max.

No need to look further. Seriously.

Be safe

Galco TUC158 F109L, (The Numbers on the holster). Works great for a J-frame Bodyguard or Centenial type in the appendix position. It has an under the belt hook and is tuckable, so nothing shows on the outside. If you are skinny and exposed hammer gun will work fine.
A J-frame or small double action auto is the only thing I would feel comfortable in the appendix position.
