I bought a Remington 870 sight unseen. It was a 150th Anniversary . was told not perfect but only paid 250...When I picked it up yesterday was surprised to see it is a TC grade Trap gun with beautiful Custom grade hand checkered wood... Nope not perfect...but still a custom shop gun....fellow has a really nice Marlin 336 in 35 Rem...pre safety and not drilled and tapped for a scope...so must be at least a 50s gun He wants 650 dollars ....so......I may buy it too. Also got two square metal Hercules cans of powder..Both full...one is Reloader 11 and the other is Bullseye...10 bucks each...Cans are worth that much

Been on the hunt for a Cimarron US Cavalry 7 1/2" SAA for the right price for a while. Earlier this week I found one on GB with a low start, no bids and 4hrs to go. Upon a closer reading, the seller was local so I emailed to see if a local pickup was OK with them. The seller ended the auction, but turned out to be one of the local shops... they remained in contact and I picked the gun up yesterday. It appears unfired, and I got it for $499+tax... no shipping and they saved the GB fees. Everybody's happy!

Hopefully it shoots as well as my 4 3/4"... I think they make a nice set.

Finished working on Colt Delta Elite. Added flat metal mainspring housing, cleaned up internals and installed these MEPRO sights. Ready to go to range this week.

I just traded for this virtually unshot Giles, extended sight rib. Dates around 1958, was shot a wee bit in bullseye in the early 60's and then put away. It came with the Giles slide positioner which tensions the slide into the same position each shot. It has a delightful Giles trigger which means hardened and ground to fit hammer and sear pins that are tight as a bug in a rug. It is quite an accurate shooter. Giles guaranteed 1.5" at 50 yards from his guns.

I recently traded a Colt GAU reissue for a nickel Gen 3 4 3/4" Colt SAA in .44 Special. It even came with the box and all the paperwork. It has drag marks on the cylinder but that just means I won't feel bad about shooting it. Everybody walked away happy on that deal.

Congratulations on your purchase. I bought one almost just like yours some 35 years ago. Were you able to get the test target with it? I was able to put mine through a Ransom Rest and it was a fabulous shooter. I need to get back to centerfire shooting again and pull mine out.

Due to hand strength issues and locking trigger finger, I knew that I would eventually purchase an EZ-9. Today was that day. Bought a used EZ-9 for 3 Benjamins. Two mags, and a decent holster. I will take it out tomorrow. I’ve been using the Hi Power as my primary carry. This will take its place.
