Does anyone know if the 65's at Cabela's are square or round butt? I saw somewhere they were French Police issue, sent back to the States after being decommissioned.

Not sure, as it's been a while since I looked at them, but IIRC they were round butt

Round butt. I purchased one from Colorado on clearance for $449.95. Nice shape, very tight and great bore. The lanyard ring is fitted into the bottom off the grips. No attachment to the bottom of the grip frame.
