So, have you bought anymore guns since I was here 6 months ago? It was just him, me and the wife. I didn't answer, the wife said oh yea. I don't hide it, but I don't flaunt it in front of her either. She will never notice another gun in the safe. Never ask questions like that in front of the wife. LOL. Fortunately my wife doesn't care, but I am probably in the minority

Time to have the MAN talk? There are just some things a man doesn't ask another man in front of his wife.

I hate going into a gun shop with my wife, it usually brings on low level arguments. If I look at a gun and she catches me, the next thing she says is " do you like it "? My answer is "no", "I already have one", or " I don't need it ". Her response is, " if you like it, go ahead and get it ". When I respond by repeating the previous answers, she normal give me a look of mild irritation and says " just go ahead and buy it".
I guess I should consider myself lucky.

Well, I have a son in law who was 47yr. old lawyer, last year and he threw a terd in the punchbowl at our annual family gathering. We were relaxing on the deck, when he says to my son, your dad tells me you bought a new custom race gun. My sons wife, is not his mother, who allowed me to get, whatever I wanted, no questions. Well the son and I were both in the dog house for a long time. He has not bought anything since and I dare not mention any new purchases, in her presence. Gotta love young and dumb.

I say son-in-law owes son a new gun to be given to son in front of son’s wife. Then he gets to be one of the guys again instead of being banished to sitting with the women and children at family events.
