Got a call from my LGS this morning to tell me my S&W Model 19 Carry Comp Moss had arrived and was ready to pickup. Needless to say, I jumped in my car and drove to my LGS to pick it up. When I opened the case I was not disappointed. The fit and finish are beautiful and the trigger action is silly smooth. I could not be happier with this purchase. It's currently wrapped in wax paper to stretch out the new leather holster I bought for it. Will make a trip to the range in the next few days to put some rounds through it.

Update: Used my Lyman's Digital Trigger scale to check the trigger weight both double and single action. 5 pull average on double is 7 pounds 15 ounces and single is 2 pounds 7 ounces. That's before any rounds have been fired. Very happy with those results.

Very nice addition. A buddy at my local range who is also a bullseye shooter has the blued verion for his edc. You'll enjoy that on. Congrats.

I wouldn't have guessed it, but that color combo looks awesome! I am guessing it shoots great. Who doesn't like a Model 19???

I like it!
I'll bet that concept catches on.

You really lucked out with the trigger pull you received. I have similar numbers on the 3 inch 686 that I recently got. But it took some work on my part to get it that way.

Congrats! An 8lb smooth pull on a new S&W revolver (especially one without a clocked barrel shroud) is almost as unlikely as winning the lottery. Cerakote on a revolver isn't my cup of joe, but hey, that's just personal taste.

It appears that S&W finally got rid of those performance center 'techs' that worked on Ameridaddy's gun.

BTY. pretty gun you got there.

what holster is that? Is that a 3 inch Model 19? I have a 586 L-Comp that I need a holster for.

Nice looking gun. I had to send my L-comp back to the performance center as soon as I bought it. The timing was all hosed up. I did not expect that from a performance center gun. They fixed it though. It's nice now.

The holster is 1791 Gunleather. Its the 2.5 inch model

How's the holster fit? I ask because about a year ago I got a 1791 OWB for a 4" 686. It was so tight to the point of unusable. I figured it was an anomaly and exchanged it. Same deal. I followed all their break-in procedures but the gun was still super glued in there. I was more likely to rip my gun belt in half than draw my revolver! I'm hoping maybe things have changed, because they are good looking holsters at an attractive price point.

After using wax paper for a few days my Model 19 Carry Comp fits perfectly. Good retention and no issues drawing from the holster.
