Man, I cannot tell yall how much I love this Bul Armory 1911 Govt!
She's been perfect ever since I bought her new for $890 shipped those years ago. She came with a super crisp, creep free 2 pound 14 ounce trigger & an awesome short reset- the slide is superbly smooth & she's the easiest 1911 ive ever taken down and put back together
This is by far the easiest to shoot 1911 ive ever owned - She was just dead nutz on from Israel 🇮🇱 too!
Its jusy always been pure joy to fire her!
I went out today to shoot her, first time in a long time really & it was just so easy lol
Here's a target from 7 yards, hind legs with Winny White Box 230gr fmj (8 rounds)
I know yall fellas love your 1911's too, so I thought i would post this up about my Bul -

High polish deep blue would really make gun stand out. I had Andy Horvath rework and deep blue a first year colt National match years ago I prefer a quality blue over any other finish on both pistols and revolvers. I am old and my Bul is strictly CC so outside of grips and front site I am leaving it stock. But a stock Bul is on par with far more expensive guns. Mine was special order many years ago my initials are serial number and they combined the SAS UL upper with the 1911 lower.

How freakin cool!! 😎
Thats awesome....
Yeah, & I 1,000% agree about the standard Bul being on par with higher cost 1911's - i like my Bul better than I did my 2015 DW Specialist & to be quite honest, as good as my Sig X5's German MasterShop pistols - shooting my Bul reminds me of those German X5's (the older editions hand fitted in Ekenforde, Germany 🇩🇪
I tell peole "you just have no idea until you shoot one ...
I mean, they're just perfect right outta the box. At least mine was

My IWI (early) Jericho 941 (Israel) in .40 S&W with Polygonal Barrel is a well made quality pistol. Bul Armory 1911's have been on my watch list also. Note: the Jericho Pistols were named 941 because they originally came in 9mm and .41 Action Express. Bob

At first giance I though this thread was gonna be about an Israeli FAL or a Galil…
Yup, almost. Got all excited thinking this was going to be about the Berretta 1951 Egyption contract. So many were captured that Isreal started issuing them. Also called the Hebrew Hammer.

PauldL sweet looking 1911.
