I normally carry my Shield in a Raven Phantom, but on occasions I need to have my carry quick on, quick off, so to speak. On these days the normal looped in holster won't do so I'm looking for a good quality paddle or clip over belt loop holster that is fairly stable. I see where Comp-Tac has a newly released QB holster but it is so new there are no reviews on it. I know this subject has been covered many times on here but thought I'd ask one more time for your favorites. Thanks

I prefer Jason Winnie. Good quality and the waiting time is well worth it.

Perhaps one of these fits your needs?

We have two J201T for two different firearms and we love it.

Not sure if you have considered a snap loop style design where the belt loops are snapped onto the holster for easy removal?

I have a LOBO model for a Shield and a J Frame that I really like and a R. Grizzle for a Glock 43 that is also superb.

They come with similar mag holders if using a semi auto and give the best of both worlds in that you can take them on and off easily but they are pretty stable.

Sam Andrews(Andrews Leather)makes his holsters so you can snap them on or off!

I have used both Safariland and Galco paddle holsters and they work very well, others I have tried were not stable and tended to shift and cant. They felt like they would fall off at any time. Not so with either the Safariland or Galco. I like the quick on/off of the paddles.

I just picked up one of the new Alien Gear Cloak Mods which came with both a paddle and a belt slide for my M&P 9C. The paddle has a large clip which makes it easy to put on and take off.

Just left their website looking at the same holster. Main thing I'm interested in is the adjustable cant. I carry RH cross draw, and the reverse cant is something I'm always looking for without a whole lot e-mails back and forth and customization. The only thing is I need at least another 15-20 degrees and am trying to figure out if I can add a couple of holes to achieve that.
All in all it seems like a good holster option for OWB carry. Besides the adjustments, and carry options, you also have the ability to change the shell for about $17 shipped, and accommodate different pistols on the same platform.

Have you guys worn your Alien Gear cloak mods yet? Curious as to how you like it. Ready to pull the trigger on one but would like to hear. My holster bucket is starting to fill up!

Tex Shoemaker makes a fabulous paddle, full holster that secures to the trouser belt very well and is a solid carry holster but disconnects quite quickly. Great quality and great customer service.

Fobus has been my go to paddle for semiautomatics for 20 years . . . .
