Guys, I searched this forum and it seems that it has been since May/2017 since this question has been asked. I am bringing this up again since it has been over a year and I am seeing allot of newer kydex holsters on the web.

I want to know what you guys are using and find comfortable and economical as well. I have posted a pic of one I had made a few years ago at a gun show for $35.00 and it has been a great holster however it only will accommodate my 642 and not the slightly bigger Pro model. So let me see what you guys are using, I am partial to kydex too as it is the thinnest for me. Thanks for the help...

Dara if you want less expensive. I like mine for my LCR. Otherwise, JMCK.

I'm a huge fan of the extremely cheap Blackhawk ARC. For less than $20, they are easily the best deal going for appendix holsters, and maybe the best deal for any holster period. The problem is they only make them for Glocks, S&W M&Ps, Springfield XD or XDS, Ruger LC9, and a J frame.

So if you carry something obscure like a CZ, Beretta, SIG, BHP, or a 1911, you are out of luck.

Anyway, I have an ARC for my Glock 19 and it's my favorite thing about the gun.

I'm expecting a side guard minimal snap in the mailbox any day now. Not a big fan of clips nor bulk, really looking forward to it. I prefer leather, especially if it goes inside the waist. At $50, it's a bit more than 35 but not too bad.

I think Vedder Light Tuck kydex holsters offers the best options. You can adjust ride height and holster cant. It has the smallest footprint (minimal kydex) and has a sweat shield. Will have to check to see if they have one for your model. Awsone for a Shield 9mm at AIWB carry. JMO

Be SAFE and Shoot often!

I've tried several with mixed results. The very best and the one I stuck with is the Stealth Gear Ventcore. It's light weight and very comfortable. I carry for a living and my gear has to be comfortable. I can hardly tell I'm carrying my M&P 360. It's worth the money. I had a Klipit before this and it was not too bad for a cheap holster.

I really like that drift-able rear sight. Did you have that done or did it come like that?

If you are talking Appendix IWB carry and want opinions - mine would be DON'T! First off to carry a loaded Pistol right above your "privates" is nuts IMO (no pun intended). Aside from the safety issues, it would be difficult to draw from sitting positions, uncomfortable when bending over, and in general I can't see it being comfortable for all day carry.

I realize this method is all the rage now, but again - it makes little sense to me as someone who has CCW carried for 40+ years. If you still decide to anyway, - please be careful!!
