My first Lobo Gun Leather
My first few holsters were made by Galco because they were solid quality and available. The quality was and still is solid, however, I wanted to try something made specifically for my 686 to see the difference.
Well, early impressions are extremely favorable. The fit is the most noticeable difference, the Lobo Enhanced Pancake fits my 686 like a glove and covers the trigger guard with surgical precision.
Mine was ordered with a special tooling request to look like a scene from one of my favorite family traditions of going to a pine forest to get our Christmas tree. The full moon over the forest reminds me of our most Cherished Christmas tradition. They took a brief description of this and made it reality which is just incredible.
I will definitely be getting more leather products from them in the future!

I have a Lobo Enhanced Pancake for my most often carried weapon, a Shield 45, and I really like both the Shield and the holster just fine.
I really like the pine tree embellishments on yours!

Matthew Fedders is the carving and tooling artist of the Fedders family, current owners of Lobo Gun Leather. Truly gifted with the vision and skills to create one-of-a-kind works.
About 8 years ago this week the Fedders family started the first production run under the Lobo Gun Leather trade name. I am very happy that my designs and methods continue with the continuing improvements that the Fedders family has provided.

Matthew did an awesome 😎 job! I'm sending them some local coffee ☕ and wine in appreciation for them doing this custom tooling for me. Your enhanced pancake design is truly brilliant and keeps the revolver tighter to the body than any other OWB holster I've tried.

Nice looking holster. I’ve got a couple of Lobos that Ray made for me back in the day, and they are still serving me very well!

I have always liked the enhanced pancake holster, and I am impressed with the tooling work. I will definitely consider some tooling on an order in the future

My two original Lobo rigs. I carry the Ruger while hunting. The other one is for a S&W ‘N’ frame. It’s perfect for wandering the woods:

Thank you very much, that means a lot because it was meant to capture a cherished tradition and rite of passage in my family. Matt really captured this feeling amazingly and I will definitely be getting more leather work done with Lobo.
