I'm watching, "Inside Edition", one of those entertainment shows, and admiring hostess Deborah Norville. Been admiring her for years, in fact. ;)

I know that she's older than she looks, but she's held up well, and is charming.

Does anyone else like her?

Please, no grouches saying that they don't watch shows like that. Or, that their wives are the only women whom they watch. That's not really the issue. I'm not suggesting that anyone leave their wives for Deb. I'm just asking if any other guys here think she's hot.

And, will someone who knows how post some pics of her?

Thanks,

Hmm... I wouldn't be able to pick her out in a line up, but the name sounds familiar. I can't watch those shows. They always keep you interested with a story that sounds interesting... then at the end of the show they have a 30 second clip of it and it turns out to be nothing good.

She is a very attractive woman, and the fact that she is conservative makes her more so. She appears on Hannity every once in a while on his panel of guests.

She's getting alittle old.......but, she still looks pretty good. 'course not as good as as 10-15 years ago!!!! When she blew off Barbara Walters on the CBS or NBC News. Bob

D. Norville

Actually she replaced Jane Pauley on the NBC Today show. NBC thought Jane was getting a little old and forced her out. It backedfired on them and viewers did not accept Deborah. She did not last long. I always felt both women really got shafted in that deal. I haven't seen the Today show in over 20 years.

For whatever it is worth

I was working for NBC back in 1989 when she was selected to host the Today Show after Jane Pauley. I met her several times and she was a genuine, decent person (believe me, after 30+ years in the business, I can tell who is a prima donna)

Deborah underwent a media assassination. It was unfair and uncalled for, but that is the media. She dared to stand up to the idiot Brian Gumbel and was pilloried for that.

She got a bad deal, but she persevered and landed on her feet and I have a great deal of respect for her.

Sometimes, good people do succeed.

Dang good looking to me, and also younger....

Glad to hear one poster say she's a decent person unlike a lot in showbiz...

In her early days, Deborah Norville dated newscaster Harmon Wages here in Atlanta. He got into some trouble over something and she sort of stepped out of the light around here. But yes, she is a looker.

She's really pretty cute and sexy. She always has that little sparkle in her eye and slight grin like she doesn't take the crap she has to babble about too seriously. And when she "reports" things like, " An Orlando man just set his family on fire", she still maintains that little smile, which I like. No offense to forum members from Orlando.

IIRC, She made the leap from Atlanta to Chicago? She only stayed a short time in Chi-town on her way to Gotham. She certainly seemed genuine, had talent and her looks speak for themself. And 51 is relatively young! Well, for a lot of us?

A great looking conservative gal is a rare bird in the entertainment industry. She's about the only reason anyone would watch such a crappy show that's on the same level as the supermarket tabloids..

Always liked her. Saw her at a rally covering a pro-gun rally in Arlington Heights, Ill., back when that town had a referendum to ban handgun ownership. She was very fair and the referendum lost by about 75-30, which ended that nonsense in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.

Oh, by the way, she was beautiful but natural.

Gee, I didn't realize that she's 51. I thought more like maybe 40...

Of course, Christie Brinkley is over 50 now, and also still well preserved. Don't much like her politics, though.

Didn't know that Norville was conservative, either. So few in the entertainment business are. And they're usually country singers, which isn't my style of music, although I know that many here like it.

Yeah, NBC treated Norville badly. Bryant Gumbel is an arrogant jerk, and so was Jane Pauley. Actually, that applies to almost ALL media figures.
