Here is mine.

Remington XP100, 221 Fireball.

So what's your varmint blaster?

Here's my Browning in .223. It's not quite as accurate as my old Remington 700 HB but it's close and a lot easier to carry.

This is my favorite varmint/predator whacker. A Ruger M77, older one with a tang safety and red butt pad. Built in 1976, or as the barrel says "Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty".

It is kind of amazing that a cartridge developed in 1935 is still the one all other varmint cartridges are compared to.

It still wears a vintage Weaver K4 scope with the rectangular (wide) eyepiece. It is a great piece of glass and more than adequate for the shooting I do. I am sure I could get better glass, but why, I like the vintage look of this outfit.

I'm not much of a hunter, and have never hunted varmints, but I've got a couple of Savages, a 10FP in .308 and a 112BVSS in .30-06 Either of them would be great varmint rifles, and out to very long ranges. I suppose my AR would do the job too, if I put on the 20" upper and the scope.

If I'm working towards the end of this year, I may do some coyote hunting on a friend's farm in Missouri.

A Remington 700 Classic in 221 Fireball with the barrel cut to 20". This gun will launch a 40g Nosler Ballistic tip at 3500 fps.

Remington 700V. Heavy Barrel 22-250, with Nikon Monarch 6.5 - 20X scope. 55 Gr. Nolser BT launched at 3716 fps will keep a 1/2 minute and Prairie Dogs within 400 yards are in danger.

My favorite small varmint gun is my Marlin 882, bolt action 22 Mag. Was the first rifle I ever purchased as a teen. My larger varmint gun is the Ruger Ranch Rifle (Mini-14), that was handed down to me from my grandfather when he passed two years ago. Both guns are plain jane blued, standard barrels, but would never part with either one.

Remington 700 vtr in 204 ruger. Stock upgrade to bell & carlson varmint, 2 pound timney trigger, and callahan speedlock firing pin. Five shot groups one half inch with 35gr berger bullets.

CZ527 Varmint .223 w/ Warne rings, Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24x40AO w/ Target Dot reticle.
Using 50gn V-Max custom loads, she'll shoot 1" @ 200yds. and makes a real mess out of ground squirrels & crows.

CZ 527 in .221 Rem. Fireball, 4-12X Vari-X II, AO.

The most accurate rifle I've EVER owned. As a previous poster said, the best durn trigger I've also ever had.

A REAL sleeper, although the above posts show me people are finding out.

This 1937 winchester model 70 reamed to .22 K-hornet is the closest thing I have to a varmit rifle, and very early TC with the scoped .256 win mag in a handgun.

OMG!!!! Am I the only one who still shoots the Swift?!?

I also take out a 17HMR, 22-250, an AR in 223 and a 243 for those long shots when going on a dedicated prairie rat eradication trip. But the Swift gets the nod more often than not.

I was actually looking at the 300RUM and wandering what I could shoot out of it for really long ranges.

Favorite? Yes! Colt MT6700 with a Redfield 4x12, Harris bipod and Williams set trigger. Loads of fun, especially with the carry handle installed and out in the brush strafing jack rabbits.

That EBR is the one I vote for too. I worked a bunch of bolt guns over the years, but a switch to the AR15 made the day of shooting a whole lot more productive.
