Say what you want about S&W customer service but they've done REAL good by me :)
Wanted to send in my 681 for the modification(the real reason was that it was not carrying up completely on three of the 6 cylinders). Smith sent me a label-FedEx picked it up last Wednesday and today about 5 minutes ago I got it back with the modification, a new hand, new cylinder stop and new cylinder stop spring:eek: Plus they cleaned the snot out of it-the front of that cylinder looks as fresh as the day it came out of the foundry.
NO CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Big Shout out to Smith & Wesson Service Deaprtment!!! I'm quick to point out a screw up and try to be even quicker pointing out great service:D

I still owe them a purchase of a 442 for the repair of my 637. I haven't forgot. Just have to pay off the 65 first.
 
I have never had a problem with S&W work. Delivery time, I've had both super fast, and super slow. In all fairness, one shop doing work from all over, let's cut 'em some slack.
 
Smith & Wesson Customer Service

Well S&W has had my model 66 barrel sense May 15 2011 ! The only thing they had to do is restamp the S&W and 357 Mag. Called S&W today and they said it would be another two week. :(
