I started off liking this show, but now its getting to the point of them putting together novelty guns that really are nothing but amusing to look at. Tonight I watched them put a shoulder stock on a Desert Eagle .50 because some hoo haw had bought this for a defensive arm for his wife (???). But so far I have seen a tri-mount M16, quad mount MG-42's, and a handheld Browning belt fed machine gun. I know they are AK and Saiga shotgun happy but I would like to see some real world guns being set up, not just the never ending set of Class III license guns. Also, do we have to see the one shop jockey flirting with the owners daughter every week? Get it over with and ask her out and stop pretending already!

The shows kinda boring to me. The best part I've seen was Miculek trying to outrun the AK. I've missed a bunch/almost all of the episodes however. I wrote it off for good when they made an episode out of assembling ARs from parts. The things even ran.

Boring!

Not impressed with him firing grenade launcher in parking lot loaded with fire works it appeared irresponsible.

That said I am glad they are on the more gun shows the better and its in your face to the gun haters

Watching the taser episode. The mount looks pretty rinky dink.

Unfortunately for TV interpersonal relationships and big explosions gets more audience share than minutes watching an expert gunsmith run a milling machine. I think this season they have decided to only have projects that are an example of what not to do or that you could never try at home. TV shows are edited to show what the producers/directors think will capture audience share. For example the overplayed "flirting" on last nights show. One has to wonder what the Baton Rouge crime scene is like if the local LEOs need grenade launchers and full auto Thompsons.

Moron television

It's called "the dumbing down of America". Put anything on television - people are so programmed to watch the box it will have an audience - need proof? any reality show program.

I have watched a few shows and i think it is right upp there with OCC

Stone crazy.:D

If nothing ells on the air, i'd look at it again :o

Stupid, but entertaining:D

I've caught the producers of the show playing gun switcheroo twice now, both times with the daughter. The fist time she is supposedly shooting the .50 Desert Eagle, however if you watch the video in slow motion, she is holding a Beretta M-9 (or 92) after the shot goes off!. Plus the hole they show in the target is way small for .50. The second time, she is 'testing' 12 gage AK conversions, but the gun she actually fires live is a 410 AK.

All the Hollywood fake pyrotechnics get on my nerves too.

Where is the show going?

I'd say here:

I thought I'd like it, but no. Custom builds and Class III stuff just don't hold that much interest for what's available to the general shooting public. I can't see it lasting, but what do I know. I'll stick with Andy Griffith.

yeah...i have grown tired of it as well....the daughter?? ummm..wellll

Just another country bumpkin... could pass for a character out of Deliverance... maybe the sister of the bango player.. :)

They're only 45 years too late..."Get Smart" was the first to put two guns together with the KAOS double revolver...

I would like to see a series about responsible people defending themselves with guns. Because I'm a gun owner and belong to the NRA there are people who link me with this show and I resent that.

with projects on the living edge of just cause for a BATF raid and a shop full of employees that wouldnt be out of place in a work release program the answer is easy ... the show is going against us

Its the big time wrestling of "supposed" gunsmithing.
Calling them hacks would be an insult to hacks.

I liked the first few shows but lately it has been just like American Chopper-a crabby guy running over his employees trying to meet a silly deadline.
just my 2cents
