Sons of Guns...where is this show going?

I hear promising things about their spin off show...Wives of Knives.

I thought it was Knives of Wifes, staring Lorianna Bobbit.

Yeah, I want to like it...but it's pretty stupid. I have never seen any gun show that consistently violates the safety rules. Tell me again why I care so much about these stranger's lives? Need more focus on real guns! More pros using the guns wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks to this thread, I watched an episode last night. Oy vey.

The cheesy aluminum stock on the .50 Desert Eagle looked painful to shoot.

The re-welded Lahti anti-tank gun held up for one shot, so they all started shooting bowling balls and gunsafes. Even my 14 year old said "What if it lets go on the 2nd shot?"

Mounting a taser on a shotgun that is capable of firing regular 12 gauge ammo is possibly the worst gun-related idea I've ever heard of.

Also, it looked like when goofball took the taser shot one of the prongs went over his shoulder. Unless both barbs hit there's no closed circuit and you get little if any juice.

I can't wait for next week.

.... down the tubes IMHO. I have not watched it since the Arisaka debacle some weeks ago. I watch "Build your own Lightsabre with Obi Wan" instead, it's more believable.

just saw the latest preview for the show ... indicates a love interest between the daughter and one of the guys on the floor as well as an upset father ... we wont have this topic to discuss too much longer
