Who doesn't like a .22 thread.....? :)

Strictly rifles, please...

Lets see some of those unusual ones you guys and gals have got stashed away.

My personal favorite is this Ruger model 77/22 RSP that shipped with a Blue finish. Only a few were ever made, and this is the earliest known to exist.

So there is one of mine.... Lets see some of your favorites.

A friend of mine has a .22 black powder rifle. Somewhere I have a pic, I'll try to find it. It's the only one I've ever seen.

I wanna see some CZ-452's wih nice wood and Winchester (or Miroku) M-52's. Sporters, not target models...

Also, Marlin M-795SS, the stainless version of the M-795.

I have my Grandpa's Remington Model 12 slide pump 22 with octagon barrel. He bought it new in 1930 for $18. It is still in very good condition. I also have the original sales receipt and owner's manual. I'll have to take some pics and post them.

Daisy 2202

I believe this was put out as a youth rifle. Bolt action,10 shot rotary magazine. The button at the rear of the stock allows the butt plate to adjust out up to 2 inches in about 8 steps. Very light and accurate.

Had this old but very accurate Savage pre-1919 NRA. Made the scope base myself.
Had the Marlin 989M2 since I was 15.

Couldn't resist this Savage Mod.74 falling block single shot on the used rack at a LGS.

I had a Western Auto Revalation 115(Marlin 57) lever action with the tube mag...but someone broke into my truck and took it..

This is a winchester model 63. This was made right at the end of production 1957. I bought it a lot later NIB with the hanging tags.

This one is a winchester model 61. It has the rare octogon barrel. Dad bought it in the late 1930s. I grew up with this rifle and it probley is the first one I shot. Dad was a tall long armed man and put on the wood block for extra LOP as he did with all his long guns.

Guess I'll have to fire up my camera (if I can find it).

I have a match pair of Winchesters, a Model 62 pump and a Model 63 Semi. Though not a 22 I have a Remington Model 25 that's almost a clone of the Wincherter Model 62 only its in 25-20. Not really good for anything, but a heck of a lot of fun to play with.

Also got a Savage Model 24 D, a 22/410 over and under that I used to feed my family the first two winters I lived in Alaska.

Other then that just and Anchutz 1807 and H&R 5200 (Win Model 52 Clone).

My meager collection (not all) of boys single shot .22's.
Stevens on the top and the Remington rolling block all three versions, solid frame, lever and knob takedown.

Belgian parlour at bottom.
Can't find a pic of my rarest. My dads Remington 12C NRA from Nov. 1928.
Lyman tang and beech flip front, octaganol and crescent butt. SWEET!!!
I'll have to get the camera out tomorrow.

22 rimfire muzzleloader, cool, surely--but maybe a bit difficult to load, especially after shooting it!

Really neat stuff here. I've always wanted one of those little Favorites.

Not a rimfire, but a .22 muzzleloader flintlock. Haven't found the pic yet, may have to get him to send me another.

Odd duck

Howdy,
This is an old Marlin with killer wood and a 10-22 bull barrel that has been cut and chambered to Anshutz match spec. Barrel and receiver were threaded
and screwed together.
It is a lot of fun.

Thanks

You want strange.... here we go:
1st picture: Springfield M2, and Remington 513T military.
2d picture: Krag with Stevens - Pope 22 barrel. Offset chamber for the center fire firing pin and Winder Musket; both in 22 Short.
3d picture: MAS 45, a real tack driver, and Berthier M 16, first modified in the 1930s to Balle N, then barrel sleeved to 22 LR. It's a single shot.
4th picture: Scholar rifle by Manufrance. Technically not a 22, it's a single shot in 6mm RF Bosquette caliber. And Ross straight pull 22 LR single shot military training rifle.
5th picture: For T-Star, a Winchester 52 sporter, possibly my favorite rifle.

Many may think of it as the #2 most popular 22 out there, but my Marlin 60 is actually a Marlin 22a special edition, that has a wood chuck or maybe prairie dog looking critter on a medallion mounted in the stock. The others I've seen on the internet have squirrels on them. It also has the "too scary for Jersey" 17 round tube and a last round bolt hold open. I guess the window was fairly small for those features on the Marlins.
