Toke the wife and kids there yesterday. I was looking forward to there Gun Library, very disappointed. Thought there would be a better hand gun selection(Smith&Wesson)they had half a dozen and none of them where that nice. They did have high end shotguns and rifles, also a ton of new gun guns.
Ammo was a joke!! There where people all over those shelves, it was like ants to a picnic. They did have plenty of 357,41mag,30 06,38spl and just about every other rifle cartridge even 308(100 rounds of atomic for $155 WOW!!) Lots of reloading bullets,primers and powder.
NO 22LR,9mm,40S&W or 45ACP. It was very entertaining watching the Cabelas staff answer the same question over and over again. I asked one of them about the ammo, told me that they fill the shelves and in the matter of a hour or two there empty. They also told me that some local gun dealers where coming in and buying large lots of it, Cabelas put a stop to that about 2 months ago.
