I don't have cable television; I have a digital antenna which, like the rabbit ears of years ago, lets me get local stations. (I don't watch much TV, and I have XM Radio, which gives me a lot of the cable news stations, without visuals, at a much lower cost.)

My local NBC affiliate has Me-TV as a secondary broadcast channel, and I have gotten hooked on "The Untouchables", which airs at 12:30 AM Eastern time. Great stories, terrific acting and direction, righteous good guys and really evil bad guys...and on top of it all, that engaging theme music!

What a great reminder of how good television used to be...

Me-TV, a great trip down memory lane.

I have cable and also use my rabbit ears, many friends doubted that one could pick up HD with the ears. I pickup about 24 channels, not bad for a free bee.

Too bad you don't have cable. They are still making great television. Shows like Homeland, Sons of Anarchy, Masters of Sex are must watch for us. There are many others that we missed out on.

+1 on th MeTv. Love it! I also do not have cable. A simple antenna, amplifier, splitters and I have 7 TV's hooked up with 30+ stations. Great old shows 24/7 on MeTv. Also get movie channel for the oldies.

I would get rid of cable if I could still get the western channel. :(

Don

They dont offer it anymore with the cable company my plex has. Also, I cant change a thing since the cable company that is allowed here-is an exclusive contract.

I miss 12 O'clock High since it left the nightly sked.
Wagon Train is a good replacement though.

My NBC affiliate used to offer programming like that over the air on their secondary broadcast channel. I really enjoyed all those oldie programs like Kojak, Alias Smith and Jones, Leave it to Beaver, The Rockford Files. Then, for some reason, they switched it to one of those Spanish channels. Disappointment.

If you get the American Life Network or the Goodlife Network, its shown on those channels on Wednesday nights as well as COMBAT, Land of the Giants and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. Rather, last time I has access to those channels--they were showing.

Beemer guy I watched the Untouchables in 60 and 61 on a 17" Admirial tv in a 1954 Pontiac 8' by 40' house trailer. I was 20 years old and we never missed it, Robert Stack was very believable as was Rocco and the rest of the feds I think Stack was the youngest skeet champion in the U S when he won it all in 1938. Another great touch was Walter Winchell nararating. By the way I was working for 1.00 an hour making BB gun stocks for Daisy. Jeff

I watch about anything

I watch about anything on METV, even if I didn't watch it before. I love Sunday Night Noir and will watch the 'Untouchables' any time.

I'm surprised...

My rabbit ears didn't work for digital at all, but I got one of those flat digital panel antenna for about $25 that works pretty good. The only problem is that it brings in commercials and infomercials just great, but when it gets back to the show it starts to fritz out.
