There was a post a few days ago about 2 Tupelo, Miss. officer shot by a bank robber one was killed. Read a news story out of Phoenix, AZ. that subject robbed a bank Saturday morning and was killed by Phoenix PD and think the subject is robbery suspect from Tupelo bank robbery.

At one time, they were saying that it may have been more than one suspect involved; they didn't know how many. Any updates on that?

Bank robbers are some of the dumbest criminals.

Last I heard, clearance rate is upwards of 75%. Tons of evidence, daylight commission & lots of eyewitnesses, high-tech devices from cameras to dye packs and trackers. And a high bias towards repeat offense.

Robbers in general are pretty stupid, but bank robbers are the dumbest of the lot.

No, but confusion over how many perps and what vehicle may have contributed to the death of the Tupelo officer. Witnesses reported that the perp left in a white SUV. The officers were in the process of speaking to the driver of such a vehicle when the perp got out of the next car in line and shot them. I am assuming that the white SUV had nothing to do with the robbery but the Tupelo news station is silent on that point.
