While poking through some boxes in my closet, I came upon this old set of Jay Scott, Gunfighter grips for an S&W J frame. Apparently they fit a square or round butt and don't look too bad on my air weight, 638. I'd certainly like to hear Opinions from any vintage grip fans. ;)

Only drawback I would have is the grips are as big as the gun. Not a very good concealed carry option.

Actually they may look a bit larger than they are due to the camera angle. But true, they are slightly oversized so I tried them on and they conceal just as well as any J frame grips.

very nice...I have a few pair of still boxed jay scotts

I'd like to see pictures if you have them. I love vintage revolver grips that recall the 70's and 80's when revolvers were "it". I've got a couple Jay Scott, Herrett's Shooting Star and Shooting Ace grips with boxes or still in the packaging as well as some newer grip styles.
