All of the S&W revolvers that I own have been bought used. I never received a manual with any of them.

I was searching for an Instruction Manual for S&W revolvers when I came across this PDF file. It gave me some helpful information that I did not previously know. It contains many topics.

Most of you may already know the following but I was surprised when I found this in the manual.

In a titanium cylinder, do not use Magnum loadings with bullet weights of less than 120 grains - This will reduce the possibility of premature erosion in titanium alloy cylinders.

I also learned that under NO circumstances should a titanium cylinder’s chambers or front face be cleaned with an abrasive material such as Scotch Brite, Crocus Cloth, etc. because of excessive erosion that will take place while firing and will void your revolver’s warranty.
