NHL STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS 2014

Anything else going on in there besides cheesecake?;)
.

Don't know, they never let you more than 10 feet into the place.

This was written for Manhattan dwellers.

S&S CHEESECAKE
222 W. 238th St., Bronx; (718) 549-3888

Behind a brick wall in an otherwise unspectacular building in the Kingsbridge neighborhood of the Bronx sits the most famous cheesecake factory in the city. Yes, Junior’s is legendary, but for more than 60 years, real New Yorkers have gotten their cheesecake fix from S&S, where visitors ring a bell to gain entrance and the cakes are sold right out of the kitchen by owner/baker/manager Yair Ben-Zaken. The secret to their product, which costs $13 for a plain cake, is in the cheesecake’s consistency (not too creamy) and vanilla flavor (not too sweet). Crust-lovers might be disappointed by the thin crust, but S&S cheesecakes are for those who desire a traditional dense filling. Don’t have time to head up to the Bronx? S&S cheesecakes can be bought online or at a handful of Manhattan steakhouses, like The Palm and Morton’s.

word on the street here in pens land is coach bylsma and gm shero have been giving their walking papers

after press conference edit: GM Shero ousted, Coach Bylsma stays, but the new GM will evaluate and fire him him if need be...

wrong move...both should have gone now...times they are a changing in the burgh...i'll take a less than stellar regular season or 2 to regroup...

I think you may be referring to the One Man Wrecking Crew:eek:.

Upon his arrival, how about sending up a whole NY Cheesecake to his room.:)
I think it's going to take more than a little cheesecake to stop the Subban freight train. He's got the whole package of size, power, skill and speed (for a man of his size). Like I said before, the Rangers are going to have their hands full in this series.

That young fella got game. He does some jitterbug moves that leaves me shaking my head. :D
He just has fun playing the game.

alde, you forgot to mention one thing.;)

The Canadiens are also going to have their hands full with the New York Rangers.;)

This is going to be an enjoyable series.:)
I didn't get to watch any of the Rangers games so far. I am looking forward to this series. I would love to see a Rangers/Blackhawks final.

LET'S GO RANGERS

Quite honestly I didn't think the Rainjuhs would get this far when the playoffs started, but having gotten to this point

LET'S GO RAINJUHS!

No..that award goes to Cooke. Call me mean or whatever...i wouldn't be upset if someone ended his career...only player i say that about

There really are many, but it all depends on who is writing the article and making the picks. And what you want to believe.;) I am a French Model;)

Even our beloved Marchand makes a couple lists.:)

James Neal is the Dirtiest Player in the NHL

Tomorrow the Rangers/Canadiens open up with a 1:00PM Matinee game.

I hope we see a newsreel and some cartoons also.

My God, I was talking (via private message with alde), and we were mentioning how Chara wasn't shooting from the point like he normally does. Well we know now, he has a fractured finger.
So now we take away his C? He probably spends the most time on the ice than the majority of Bruin players.

Lucic like it or not, is the best power forward in the NHL, I don't think he is going anywhere.:D

Marchand could probably depart and play somewhere else, maybe not, don't know, Bruins management will make that decision.

In my lifetime the Bruins have only won 3 cups and I am 68.

But I will always be a Bruin fan even if they end up in the cellar next year.

I love the sport of hockey and will continue to watch the playoffs and congratulate the winner, hear that Hawks.;)

My first post for next years playoffs GO BRUINS:D

The Captain is suppose to lead, inspire, and motivate his team even in the face of adversity. He motivates other team members to step up their game and leads by example like when Steve Yzerman was playing in the playoffs - with a broken leg. That is an example of true leadership. When he talked - which wasn't often - the team listened and responded. He made no excuses for himself or anyone else and he set the standard. The rest of the team elevated their game to a new level. No, they did not win the cup every time but they won their share. When asked why they didn't win the cup one year Yzerman said it was his fault that he did not do his job to motivate the team to the next level of play. That is why if you go to Detroit and ask for the Captain - you will be told he's on temporary loan to the Tampa Bay Lightning.:D:D:D

Well, I was going to root for the blackhawks to jinx them, but then I realized that rooting for a team to win so they actually lose would only reverse the jinx that you intended to use to watch them lose so they would actually end up winning, and I wanted no part in helping the Blackhawks win so I have decided to root for whoever plays against the blackhawks knowing that this may in fact help the blackhawks win as well so in actuality I am screwed and the blackhawks hoist the cup once more. I may have to start watching nascar. Hockey is too complicated.

Go Kings, a.k.a. western conference runners-up or runner-ups, whichever is grammatically correct.

Regretfully,

Kevorkian's Ghost

Just pretend this is witty.

Looks like we get to play The Kings on Sunday.
I really thought the Duckies would have put up a better fight. Meh.
