Canned Chili Question

For chili from a can I like Wolf. Needs some Cholula added. Why do they have to improve stuff? Never works out.

Apparently they didn't pay attention to Coca Cola when they tried that sick joke of new coke.

Must be the redneck in me, but I like Armour's canned chili.

I've never found any canned chili to be very good. It's hard to beat a good bowl of Texas Red made from scratch with venison or elk and sausage, but Wick Fowler in a box is pretty good. Use all the ingredients and add additional chili for a little extra kick. I like it with cornbread and a bowl of pinto beans.

You guys have got me thinking about making a pot of my HOMEMADE chili today........three types of meat ( stew/soup beef, hot or Italian sausage and lean ground beef) and two types of beans (red and black)...... in a zesty sauce full of chunks/diced tomatoes..........................

Now THAT sounds like chili! And personally I don't like chili a lot but just might have to make a pot.

A friend of mine gave me a can of the Bush's Texas chili starter, if you want something fast & easy, it's better than nothin.

Well, in my opinion, One Million Years, BC. With Raquel Welch!

(She shoulda won an Oscar. Most photogenic.)

Just sayin'.

(Aw. Alright. Go on back to yer derned canned chili.)

I never eat Wolf brand chili in a bowl, but only use it for chili dogs or chili cheese burgers. It doesn't have enough body for me to just eat a bowl whether it's regular, new and improved, or the lean meat version.

I'm with you on that one. Canned chili is for hot dogs. Eating chili is made in a big pot.

Hormel with beans, right out of the can beats not having any.

I like homemade chili with beans when I have time and ingredients on hand.

Chili WITH NO BEANS is for HOTDOGS, Homemade or Canned. JMHO!
