Discretion is the Better Part of Valor
My wife surprised me today.
She said, "I hate nagging."
I was about to blurt out, "since when?"
But I thought better of it.
Have y'all ever seen an angry Italian?

Seen one? Heck, I've been married to one for 41 years!
I've had to bite my tongue so many times I can hardly talk. Not that I get many chances to.

Many here know that I'm of American Indian descent. Today I found out why Indians went, "ugh."
I was the only sound I could squeeze in edgewise once my wife got to talking.

Words to use when arguing with a wife:
"Yes, dear."
"Of course, dear."
"Right away dear."
If you think you are right and want to be strong:
"In a minute, dear."
Keep them on a 3x5 card in a shirt pocket.

My wife has out shot me for years and won tommyhawk throwing contests in five stays.
My standard response to anything is "Yes Dear, Ma'am!"
Seriously she's the best thing that ever happened to me.

Uhhh..... yeah.
Can handle the blow ups, it's when she's so p.o'd she goes silent I feel the target between my shoulder blades.
We'll work things out somehow, at least I'm no longer ducking 2x4's, work boots and quart bottles of beer.

My wife had an aunt and uncle who were both blind. When they got into a fight, the uncle would go somewhere in the house and sit quietly and not make a sound. His wife would yell out "Bishop, make a noise damit so I know where you're at!".

Man up, guys-
Her: "Do these pants make my butt look big?"
Him: "No, fat makes your butt look big."
You'll get 4-5 days of blissful silence, or have a chance to die like a man.

Nagging is as well. I didn't want to say that but-my BiLs family are all Italian and he has 8 sisters who cant stop it with a food topic. His mother is worse though.
Patty's life revolves around food-mostly fast food and the talk of it really started turning ME-against food. Talking about it started making my tummy queasy-and I love food.
Part of what I told-and showed her about my kitchen--just didn't sink in to her. I have no extra prep room unless I use the sink.

My wife, a buddy and I were at the range one fine day and my buddy and I were patting ourselves on the back for the groups we were shooting.
Well my wife pulls out her trusty 4" 66-3, loads one 158 grain sjsp .357 magnum round and shoots a hole right in the middle of my group. Loads another and does the same to my buddies group.
Show off!

Good point, one of the first things I did was to build a kitchen island for the extra prep room.
Sandy and Sara getting a treat on the kitchen island I built:
