Almost anything used by TCM when they do their "TCM Remembers" memorial at the end of the year.
2011 is the one that means the most to me. The first line of the song describes what I did for six months before leaving my bedridden first wife who was dying of cancer. I always made sure she had a drink before I left the facility that was looking after her.
That one turned on the water works for me. We lost a granddaughter just before her second birthday. For several years, we did just that, set a vacant chair for her at holidays. Another one that does if for me is "The Dance" by Garth Brooks.....i think about the time we spent with that baby girl every time that song comes on.
"Bring Him Home" sung my Michael Crawford of Phantom of the Opera fame.
If that song and his voice doesn't bring a tear to your eye, IMO nothing will.

Bring Him Home Lyrics
God on high
here my pray
in my need
you have always been there
he is young
he's afraid
let him rest
heaven blessed
bring him home
bring him home
bring him home
he's like the son I might have known
if God had granted me a son
the summer's die one by one
how soon they fly on and on
before I'm old before I'm gone
bring him peace
bring him joy
he is young
he is only a boy
you can take you can give
let him be let him live
if I die, let me die
let him live
bring him home
bring him home
bring him home
First time I heard this on the radio, I bawled my seven-year-old eyes out. It took the place of "Go Tell Aunt Rhody" that my grandma used to sing to me, as the saddest song ever.
There's a tear in my beer, DON'T Bogart that joint, Down to seeds & stems again blues, last call. Along with the standard Taps, Amazing grace, Danny boy, & about anything played on bag pipes
I am always humbled at the sight of the graves of all the fine American boys that gave their lives cleaning up the mess this old Continent created twice last Century.
