De-Classified Roswell crash photos

Roswell or not, I believe in UFOs. We got one on radar in Newfoundland in 1966 and called F-106's down from Goose Bay to catch it.

No way! When the fighters approached, the object took off like the Mach 2 jets were standing still and quickly disappeared over the Atlantic. In my B&L 7X50 binocular, it just looked like a star, but clearly performing intelligent maneuvers. Both I and the Weapons Control Officer (the fighter director) saw it.

There are too many credible sightings to dismiss UFO's and the USN has recently admitted encountering some. They easily evaded FA-18's launched from carriers. (Please, no wisecracks about how those Hornets must have had Marine pilots. This is serious stuff!) And reports come from around the world.

The jury is still out on Bigfoot, but aliens are real. And they aren't the kind that a wall will keep out!

In 1966 it could be an SR71 doing just that.

Well, a SR-71 should have responded to Air Defense Command challenges.

Maybe the pilot just didn't do that. Could have been testing our defenses. Who knows? They called it a UFO and pursued it...

There are no markings of any kind on the sheet metal. No evidence of fire. What do they plan to do with dump trucks and dozer? Looks like a SR71 crashed into a water tank.
You can almost make out an Air Force star just below where the guys are standing----I think it's a Flying wing too.

Maybe they weren't where they're supposed to be.

And decided to avoid small talk.:D

These photos of the Roswell crash were recently released under the Freedom of Information Act.

Oh-h-h...you're talking about that crash near Roswell, Georgia aren't you? I remember that one. There's an area looks like that just a couple of miles west of town.

Google is your friend.

These photos show the wreckage of an A-12 crash near Wendover, Utah, 1963.

They were published by National Geographic in 2011.

PPS: Now the link doesn't work anymore. Grabbing a gun and waiting for the sound of Black Helicopters approaching ... :D

I could see the authorities throwing the UFO angle in to cover up an early research aircraft, like an SR71, or in this case an XR71
The truth is out there......
