Even though I'm 66, I have a full head of hair. Since the last time I got a haircut was 9 weeks ago, I started looking like I belonged in the remake of a Saturday Night Fever Movie - LOL!! :D

I decided to give myself a haircut and let my Wife do the back with both the scissors and Buzzer/razor. While this is my very first attempt at this (and hers), it actually came out good enough so that I can walk down the street without wearing a hat - :) I'm actually quite pleased and my Daughter even said it looks OK (and she's tough)!

While I sincerely hope this is the last haircut I have to give myself, at least I know that it can be done well enough.......

Any other brave souls out there? Stay healthy Guy's and Gal's!! :)

I'm a sober "60's burnout" suffered from the social distancing we Viet Vets got from the domestic communists here back in the world. I thought full long hair might help me go incognito. It did not because of the critical strategic thinking and behavior I learned while in USMC. That said I still never liked short perfect hair cuts on me. OK for you, just my opinion about me only. I can recall a hair job I got from a woman 30 years ago so proud of her time at Wood Stock she had to covertly insult my service and history. Well we roll with it... So recently, I went three years cutting my own in a mirror. well enough of that, so I went to a man's barber shop with two inked up nose studded ladies doing the work. She would not stop when I said she was taking too much off, then proceed to draw blood with the electric clipper shaving the hair off my ears. Like Bob Dole, "I just can't win."

Trying to stay home like we are supposed to, but I needed a haircut.
I have some Wahl Clippers, so I just put on the #3 guard and went at
it. Doesn't look very good, but it's probably just me.

Then I didn't want my barber to think I'm a cheapskate, so I sent an
Easter Card along with a check for the amount I usually pay for haircut
plus tip.

I keep threatening to cut it off with the beard trimmer... it is making me nuts... but the wife keeps telling me she likes it long and twirling it with her fingers... she is winning for now... but she will be surprised one day when she gets home from work...

I'm starting to have that 70's look too. My wife has been trying to cut my hair, I'm just not ready for that yet. I guess I'll just keep on looking like Mungo Jerry a few more weeks.
